So YOU decided to CHECK me out?! So this is really about my LIFE and my adventure all over the world and less about us. Great…what can you expect from my site? A lot about me and my CRAZY LIFE, my travels, my girlfriends ( many of which I will not name…LOL) my cars, the places I LOVED and the few I hate/hated, and a LOT of information about all kinds of USEFUL stuff/things/places…

 

My name is Tom or Thomas and I am now 55 years old, ( Today is Dec.28.2022, I am 59 ) married and my daughter just turned 9 . Time flies when you are having fun, doesn’t it?

  •  I was born in the former Czechoslovakia, which is now called the Czech Republic OR Czechia. I went to school in Switzerland, Germany, and Canada. The pic on the right is me and my mom.Me and my mom

 

  • I have lived and worked in each of the following countries for at least 2-3 years, up to 10 years in others. I always had my own business as an Entrepreneur and depending on the country the business usually varied.

  6.   Canada

 

  • I have 2 mother tongues, which I speak somewhat perfect at times, depending on my moods, who I talk to and my alcohol level…just kidding! Really, I stopped drinking a long time ago.  These are English and German. I went to school in both,Germany and Canada. I also speak Czech and Spanish. I “understand” Polish & Russian, Italian and a bit of Portuguese.

 

  • There were many other countries which I visited for a work vacation. You know, when you want to check out a city in a specific country and see what kind of business one can do, or possibly live there, maybe even have a 2nd home.  These countries were:
  • Austria, Switzerland, France, Hungary, Italy, Costa Rica, Panama, Dubai and I almost ended up in Istanbul, but faith did not want me to go there then. Some other places like Nicaragua, Abu Dhabi and many others were I only stayed for a a couple of nights.

 

I have moved so many times in my life, in the past 35 years, that I lost count, and that’s why my site is named: My Life Is A Suitcase.

 

  • I am currently living in Asia, where I found my 2nd wife, a Filipina. She is an AMAZING friend, wife, mother and lover! Never in a thousand years I thought that I would get married for a 2nd time, but I did. For those of you men out there, that have a failed marriage, divorce behind you, I would recommend to visit the Philippines. Just because some have remained WOMAN and did become these business oriented business bitches. But there will be a separate POST on that soon.

My beloved friend and son BLUE, a white Boxer which I got, or lets say he found me, in Miami, has passed away while I was on a business trip in Asia! I will write an entire post about him and how he was   kept me laughing all the time! He was the most amazing…how can I put this…friend, companion, son, dog, funny bunny….etc. that you can imagine. I am sure that all dog lovers know what I mean,especially IF you had a boxer. How he touched so many people’s lives while on his visits to NYC and how he had an amazing life! Please read here.

  • April 26.1986 was a day to remember for me, and probably started  my LIFE to be a suitcase. We drove from Munich to Bad Reichenhall for work, and saw a strange yellow cloud from miles away. Well on this day we did NOT know what is was. About 1-2 weeks later the media informed us, the people, that the biggest NUCLEAR DISASTER to date occurred, called CHERNOBYL. But because of this disaster, my than Boss, Friend and Guru decided we should check out Mallorca. We went for a vacation and shortly after, moved there.  Here a 5 min.Video and 5 facts about Chernobyl.

 

  • By the end of 1986, I was living and working in Palma de Mallorca. This for 5 years.

  • After living about 5 years in Mallorca, it was becoming a bit boring for me, and after watching many shows on TV, especially how South Beach was getting popular, I decided to have a vacation there and check it out. My brother for some odd reason, decided to join me.

 

  • In 1992 I moved to Miami. My brother too.
  • We established our own company called: Inter Global German Trade Corp. and we started our own business.
