I would also like to say: hello friends or anybody who found my site here. Thank you.
I will start my 1st ENTRY by talking briefly about my Amazing Parents, since without them, WHERE would I be today?!  
                                                       

     This ENTIRE website is in their Memory and in their Honor!

  • I guess for those of us who had parents for a long time it’s really strange and weird once they are gone! Once it really hits you that you will never see them again…
  • My amazing mom was born on 24.June.1933. She passed away on 02.June.2012 ahead of my dad. My father, being married for almost 60 years, followed her on a Sunday, Dec.28.2015.
  • So what can I say about my parents? A LOT…but I won’t because I would never stop writing. Having them around for most of my life was ( and only now I truly realize that! ) was a blessing and wonderful. Even though I separated and moved away when I was around 21 years old, they never gave up on me and always supported me, even on some pretty stupid decisions I made.

My mom was a nurse, by heart, always HELPING others. She was the PERFECT mom, really! She was always there when I needed her.

Her skills from a nurse to a mom were just great! Everybody loved her. Especially her cooking and baking skills will never be forgotten!!

She did all the household chores and when my mom passed away, my dad was so lost without her, at least for a while!

  • My dad was a Chemist, but soon after learned that his passion was photography. So he began shooting weddings, schools, and whatever he found that he could make money in the 1950s and 1960s.
  • Later on in Germany, he was one of three photographers who took the pictures of the school classes, from grade ONE til the so-called Berufsschulen.
  • He also did a photoshoot for National Geographic around the 1980s. He went to Costa Rica for 3 weeks and took thousands of pictures, only to be stolen by someone just one day before leaving Costa Rica!
So he decided to RE SHOOT again the whole entire segment of his journey! I still have these amazing pictures, or better Color Slides, which were very popular at the time and of course, the quality of slides is superior to negatives.

 Like I said, I will not go into any detail, it would just take way too much time, but would just like to say that it was GREAT and WONDERFUL to have them around for so many years! Thank you MOM and DAD !!

MY LIFE was exiting and wonderful because YOU gave ME LIFE and the CHOICES to make on my own, even that some were wrong. I will forever cherish the good times we had as a family and will LOVE and remember you FOREVER! I thank you for the UNCONDITIONAL Love you both gave me, letting me make all those mistakes I made, and still love me!

I will MISS YOU ALWAYS! You really never know what YOU HAVE until they/its gone.

I would also like to thank my friends all around the world, especially Manfred and Marc who have been really GOOD FRIENDS in my life! So hello friends from Prague!

Just in case you found this site by any search engine and find it interesting to some degree or it inspired you in any way, please do leave a comment on one of my other posts or pages.

I would lastly like to WISH every person on this planet a SAFE time in these crazy times we are currently living in since March 22, when an attack on our FREEDOM began! I start to wonder HOW my parents if they would still be alive, and would be at working age, what they would do??? I wish I could ask them.

And just in case you are wondering what I have been up to in the last 2 years, here is what I have done. It took and I am still working on THIS WEBSITE helping people with their insomnia problems. Please do have a look. Just maybe you even know someone who is having sleeping problems? Thanks.

        We are children of our parents and only understand certain things only when they have left us.

    thank you very much for your great comment. It just tells me to write more! In the very near future, since I am still caught up with my move from Asia to Europa.

  5. I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Excellent work!

      thank you very much for your wonderful comment. Really!
      I did not hire anyone, but did learn all that on the web. To find the right theme, took a while, but eventually I did find one! Its called “Sydney” by WP.

  11. You actually make it seem so easy together with your presentation however I in finding this matter to be actually one thing that I believe I would never understand. It seems too complex and very huge for me. I am looking forward in your subsequent publish, I’ll attempt to get the grasp of it!

    1. Well, it might seem easy, and it is in a way, but when you do something that you LOVE, it comes with ease!
